Some 3 years ago, I took my first stab at website design with zMoxy.com so I could bring my jewelry to the public. Well, at least the plan was to bring it to the public, but in reality, with everything else I had going on, I managed to get a general layout put together, took photographs and created a display of the various pieces I had completed at that time, and posted a bit of personal information. That was about it!
A couple of months ago, I reengaged in the task, finally adding some jewelry to the store. Since then, I’ve been working on the website on and off, in-between making more pieces as well as and exploring opportunities with Flux-X-Change, our newest enterprise. Today though, I had another steep learning curve while working on the zMoxy on-line store. It is only that much I can learn on my own by trial and error and doing Google searches so I ended up having a couple of conversations with the Weebly support staff, which BTW, have been great every time I talked to them!
Without doubt, professionals would have done a much better job in designing a website than I am, but I have to say that I am mostly pleased with the results I’ve gotten so far, especially considering that I’ve been taking all the photographs myself. I am attempting to have the Weebly development team make some modifications to the template I am using to get information to display the way I want it so it is a work in progress. If any of you would like to check it out and give me some constructive criticism, I’d very much appreciate it. You can access it at zmoxy.com.
Be well,
Cristina
